Peter's Reminder

This piece was inspired by the Biblical account of the apostle Peter and his denying that he knew Jesus Christ.  Jesus had said that before the rooster crowed Peter would deny Him three times.  I'm sure that for the remainder of his life the rooster crowing at the beginning of a day was a poignant reminder of his failure and Jesus' gracious forgiverness.
