Winter Chickadee

This stunning original painting captures a solitary chickadee perched amid the intricate, leafless branches of a tree against a wintry sky. I wanted to capture a natural scene where more often than not a person has to hunt to find the bird.  I was drawn to the wonderful abstract lines of the tree branches.
